The Work of Art TV program started out with each contestant having a self portrait they brought to the show. Here is my first try ever at doing a self portrait. I used water color pencils. I've also started another challenge of doing a project based on a certain word given each week at the website Illustration Friday. The word for this week was "Vanity". Maybe it looks more like I would WANT to look than what I really do! :-)
